We are the Molecular Diagnostics vertical of Biosite Research — a full-stack clinical research organisation with two decades of scientific and operational depth in Indian oncology. ONCO X exists to close one specific gap: the molecular test that decides which therapy a cancer patient should start.
Precision oncology should not be

Today, more than half of advanced-cancer patients — worldwide, and disproportionately in India — start treatment without the molecular test that would tell their oncologist which therapy to use.
We are building diagnostics that change that: fast enough to influence the next clinic visit, sensitive enough to work on the samples labs actually receive, and priced to run in the hospitals that actually treat most Indian patients.

Dr Datta founded ONCO X inside Biosite Research to solve a problem she had watched play out for years across Indian oncology practice: patients who should have been on targeted therapy weren’t, because the molecular test that would have qualified them never happened.
Under her leadership, ONCO X launched India’s first ultra-sensitive PCR-based NSCLC panel, established the country’s first commercial cancer-resistance test workflow, and is now expanding into colorectal, bladder and MRD — with a full NGS platform on the horizon.
